Kate’s Wedding Dress of the Century – Keep Updated at The Royal Wedding Official Website
Quite a few news agencies including the Times are stating that Kate Middleton has picked a designer for her wedding gown.
It’s reported that the Alexander McQueen’s White Fall 2011 Finale Wedding Gown collection was inspired by “The Ice Queen and her court,” a theme that easily feeds into all the rumors that soon-to-be Princess Kate Middleton has chosen Burton to do her wedding dress.

The Telegraph is reporting that Kate plans on wearing a gown by designer Alexander McQueen, and that the dress will be a combination of Kate and Sarah Burton’s ideas.
Burton, who worked with McQueen for 14 years, became creative director of Alexander McQueen after his tragic death in 2010 (Wikipedia). Sarah has designed clothes for First Lady Michelle Obama, Lady Gaga, Gwyneth Paltrow, Cate Blanchett, and other well known celebrities.
Middleton became a fan of Burton after her design of an off-the-shoulder wedding dress for Sarah Buys, a fashion journalist who writes for Harpers Baazar, who married Tom Parker Bowles in 2005.
Sarah Burton and the Chief Executive of Alexander McQueen deny they are designing Kate Middleton’s wedding dress. More than likely they are sworn to secrecy, and furthermore, Clarence House has neither confirmed nor denied the report.
